Players of People’s Postcode Lottery give Book Festival additional funding boost
The Edinburgh International Book Festival’s ambitious plans to take live literature events beyond Charlotte Square Gardens have received an additional boost thanks to an extra £25,000 from players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
The additional funding was awarded just weeks after the Book Festival announced it was planning to give greater numbers of people across the country access to live literature events, thanks to funding from players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
Book Festival Director Nick Barley said ‘We are absolutely delighted to hear that players of People’s Postcode Lottery will be awarding Edinburgh International Book Festival with an extra £25,000. These funds will help us to develop a programme of literature that will reach people across Scotland and I would like to say a massive thank you to the fantastic players of People’s Postcode Lottery for their continued support.’
