Live Twitter Interview with Marcus Sedgwick
In a first for the Edinburgh International Book Festival, we're holding a live Q&A event on Twitter. We'll be chatting to award-winning Young Adult fiction author Marcus Sedgwick this Saturday, 2 April, at 12 noon.
If you'd like to ask Marcus a question, you'll need to be on Twitter and use the #askmarcus hashtag. And, as a special incentive, the lovely people at Orion Books have a signed copy of Marcus' new book, White Crow, to give to the senders of the five most interesting questions. So get tweeting your questions!
If you're not on Twitter you can still follow what’s going on this Saturday by checking out our Twitter page. But it'll be more fun if you ask a question - so maybe now is the time to take the Twitter plunge!
This Q&A is to celebrate our new writing commissions on the theme of Elsewhere for which Marcus wrote the superb Archipelago. We will also be releasing exclusive interviews with some of our Elsewhere authors where they talk about how they explored the Elsewhere theme. The first two interviews, with Julia Donaldson and Gill Arbuthnott, are available now on our blog with further audio from Joan Lingard, Elizabeth Laird, David Almond and Jackie Kay to follow in the run up to Saturday's Twitter event.
