This is the story of a cat called Waverley and the man who belonged to him. When Donald has to go far, far away to fight in a strange land Waverley looks all over Edinburgh for him, but will he ever find his friend again? The renowned illustrator and author of classic picture books including No Matter What and Stormy Weather, Debi Gliori shows you how she created her thought-provoking new picture book and explains why the message behind A Cat Called Waverley is so important. Then you will become an author and illustrator yourself as Debi helps you to imagine what might come next for Waverley.
