Suketu Mehta
New York based journalist and fiction writer Seketu Mehta was born in Calcutta and raised in Bombay and New York. His book Maximum City: Bombay Lost and Foundwon the the Kiriyama Prize and was finalist for the 2005 Pulitzer Prize, the BBC4 Samuel Johnson Prize and the Guardian First Book Award. Metha’s writing has appeared in numerous publications including the New York Times Magazine and National Geographic.He has also written a screenplay and a Bollywood movie.
Mehta is Associate Professor of Journalism at New York University.He is a graduate of New York University and the Iowa Writers' Workshop.
