Nicola Davies
Nicola Davies is an English zoologist and writer who has authored more than 50 books for children, including fiction, non-fiction and poetry.
Nicola graduated in zoology from King’s College, Cambridge and studied geese, bats and whales before becoming a presenter for the BBC Natural History Unit. She was one of the original presenters of CBBC’s wildlife programme, The Really Wild Show. Her lifelong love of nature is expressed in her writing which focuses on the natural world and humans’ relationship with it.
She has been writing children’s books for over 20 years and has won numerous awards for her work.
