Graeme Macrae Burnet
Graeme Macrae Burnet was brought up in Kilmarnock and has lived in the Czech Republic, France, Portugal and London. He has appeared as an author at festivals and events across the world.
Described by the Guardian’s Mark Lawson as ‘extravagantly talented’, Graeme is the author of 3 novels: French-set literary crime novels The Disappearance of Adèle Bedeau and The Accident on the A35, and the Man Booker-shortlisted His Bloody Project.
His Bloody Project was published in 2015 to great acclaim. It was shortlisted for numerous prizes and won the Saltire Society Fiction Book of the Year Award. It has now been published in more than 20 countries including Germany, the USA, Russia, China and France.
Graeme currently lives in Glasgow.
