Allan Radcliffe
Born in Perth but now based in Edinburgh, Radcliffe has been a teacher and a stagehand, and always a perpetual writer. His poetry and short stories have appeared in New Writing Scotland, the Celtic View and Gutter Magazine, he has written a monologue that was performed at Glasgow Hunterian Art Gallery in 2006, and he is a strong and familiar name among the contributors to the Scotsman, the List, Metro and the Big Issue, among other papers and journals. At present, Radcliffe is continuing work on his debut novel, currently called The Afterlife, which follows the search for a missing schoolboy.
