Yvonne Reddick & Shane Strachan: Groundbreaking New Poetry

Yvonne Reddick’s Burning Season (2023 Laurel Prize winner, and Shortlisted for Scottish Poetry Book of the Year) is a vivid, piercing collection documenting personal grief against a backdrop of ecological loss and heartbreak. Shane Strachan’s collection, DWAMS, is at times humorous and brutal, exploring climate emergency, xenophobia, and Queer romance in North East Scotland.
