Bookshops have always been sites for reading, togetherness, and organising. Shakespeare and Company provides this space for readers in Paris and beyond, and this sense of community is what novelist Lauren Groff is building at her new bookstore in Florida, where she plans to stock banned books. Today, Groff joins Neel Mukherjee – whose novel Choice explores freedom and consequence – and Adam Biles for a live recording of The Shakespeare and Company Interview podcast, asking what difference a book (and a community of readers) can really make.
