Peter Pomerantsev: Voices of Dissent

In 1941, a German broadcaster, Der Chef, spoke out against Hitler from inside the Nazi regime. However, "Der Chef" and his infamous voice of dissent was, in fact, the creation of British propagandist, Sefton Delmer. Talking with Heidi Pett about How to Win an Information War, Peter Pomerantsev (2020's Gordon Burn Prize winner), reveals what we can learn from Delmer’s wartime effort in our age of misinformation.

Peter Pomerantsev will now be appearing remotely.
