Melissa Lucashenko & Sathnam Sanghera: Narratives of Empire

The legacy and myths of British imperialism will be explored and interrogated by non-fiction writer Sathnam Sanghera, whose latest book Empireworld explores the British empire’s impact upon the globe after Empireland looked at this country alone. Joining Sanghera is is Australian writer Melissa Lucashenko whose new novel, Edenglassie, intertwines two stories of colonialism from an Indigenous perspective, set five generations apart in Queensland. Chaired by Alex Renton
