Maylis de Kerangal & Balsam Karam: Women Talking

A migrant mother searches for her child by the sea in The Singularity, the first English-language outing by one of Sweden’s most exciting new novelists Balsam Karam. Whilst in her award-winning creative memoir Expecting, Chitra Ramaswamy ruminates on the awestriking experience of pregnancy. Both authors come together to talk about their lyrical tales of motherhood and to illuminate those facets of becoming and being a mother that are often perplexing and obscured.
