This event has been cancelled.
Colonial pasts are brought to life in two bold historical novels. In Edenglassie – British colonists’ name for Brisbane – Melissa Lucashenko tells two tales of First Nations people and how modern Australia was created. In The Vaster Wilds, a girl flees her 17th century Jamestown settlement as Lauren Groff explores the mythology that made America. They join us to discuss the origins of the New World.
Supported by the Australian Government through Creative Australia, its arts funding and advisory body.
