Jennifer Saint: Mythical Women

With four novels published in as many years, former English teacher Jennifer Saint has carved out a niche as a writer who vibrantly brings the women of Greek myth to life in fictional form. Following Ariadne, Elektra, and Atalanta, this year’s Hera reclaims the complex story of the queen of the gods, reassessing her usual portrayal as a wicked and vengeful character. Saint talks to Alice Tarbuck.
