In her debut title, The Tower, Flora Carr takes an almost unbearably intimate look at the iconic Mary, Queen of Scots during her confinement in Lochleven Castle, exploring the power of female friendship and resilience of spirit against all odds. In conversation with Sasha de Buyl, Carr discusses this feminist, heartrending portrait of a royal who's fallen from grace and the twisting relationships that surround her.
