Award-winning Scottish crime writer Chris Brookmyre is taking the genre to new heights with The Cracked Mirror. Two worlds collide when village-dwelling, murder-solving Penny Coyne meets Johnny Hawke, a hardened, troublesome LAPD homicide detective. Brookmyre always delivers thrilling narratives, and this genre-defying ‘whodunnit’ tale is perhaps his most entertaining, ambitious and imaginative novel yet.
