Cursed hotels, Cornish mermaids, and the devil in a gay bar appear in the pages of two new surreal short story collections. Truth and Dare by So Mayer is a romping, genre-spanning journey through bodies, Queerness, and folklore. The Coiled Serpent by Camilla Grudova takes on the absurdity of tradition, labour, and Britishness with humour and horror. Join these truly original authors in conversation with Eris Young.
