Black to the Future

What future can be created when the visions are infused with history and heritage? Irenosen Okojie's Black to the Future festival is an Afro-Futurist celebration of Black artistry, a space for visionary imaginings to thrive. In a special Book Festival edition, part of our Future Tense strand, Okojie is joined by writers including Colin Grant, Jess Brough, and Patience Agbabi in celebration of Afro-Futurism across the arts, discussing outstanding Black voices, and how ancestry and tradition feeds into the imagination to deliver a better future.
