Amy Liptrot’s memoir of recovery, resilience and hope has moved readers the world over. This year sees two major adaptations of The Outrun being released: a film, directed by Nora Fingscheidt and starring Saoirse Ronan, and a play – which The Lyceum is bringing to the Edinburgh International Festival for a world premiere – written by Olivier Award-winning Stef Smith.
