How long does it take to truly know someone? There’s something undeniably special about long-term friendship. Actor Adjoa Andoh and writer Jackie Kay became friends at 19, while collaborating on a theatre production. Over four decades, they’ve blazed trails across stage, screen, writing, and activism. Now, as Andoh writes her debut and Kay reflects on her new collection, May Day, they come together to talk about shared history, curiosity, activism, and creativity.
