Doddie Weir at the Edinburgh International Book Festival
Scottish rugby star Doddie Weir hung up his boots after more than a decade at the pinnacle of the sport, only to return in 2017 to announce a new challenge: his Motor Neurone Disease diagnosis. My Name’5 Doddie is his account of a glittering career and a courageous campaign to raise money for MND research. In this event, filmed live at the 2019 Edinburgh International Book Festival, Doddie and his co-author Stewart Weir talk about a remarkable life on and off the pitch with Scottish writer, broadcaster and former internatonal rugby player, Ian Robertson.
