One of Scotland’s most beloved historians, Alistair Moffat arrives at the Festival with two new books: Between Britain: Walking the History of England and Scotland, and The Highlands and Islands of Scotland. Today, he joins James Jauncey to talk about what he unearthed about these regions: from the rich history of battle lines to the changing story of Scotland’s dramatic landscapes, from the prehistoric to modern.
